First Silver of March
2017 keeps on giving…
My usual 20-30 minutes of detecting a middle school on the way home from work (90%) of my hunting time takes place this way – short hunts on way from work 2-3 days a week.
Was having a pretty poor hunt – digging crappy plugs, dealing with some mud it was windy, just wasn’t feeling it – only 2 lincoln cents which had rung up as 81s thereby getting hopes up falsely.
Then a 78/79 – and saw this under the plug about 6” down :

Cleaned up with 3 Wheats - 40, 41, 48 found earlier this week....

Its in nice shape –925 and a hallmark I can’t make out next to the 925 and something stamped on the loop/ring/clasp.
Very happy with the find!!!!
Thx - HH!
