marine resistivity

Anyone have any comments or have tried resistivity survey in shallow water with high sand content bottom. Looks like this may be a vary useful tool to image sand bottom were sub - bottom profiler (acoustics) cant penetrate sand. I think resistivity should work better in calcium carbonate etc. checkout www.terraplus.ca and look at marine version.......Looks like a new science project is in order!
