Could anyone help to define the marker and its meaning?
The Spanish used pointer rocks to determine a trail.
If you look on the right you have a pointed rock pointing to the right, and on the left side of the picture you have what looks like a birds head with the beak pointing to the right. In the midget behind it and you have a white rock that points up and to the right. This type of rock is called a gun site., you get behind it and see what it points toward,. With the gun site I have found things within 200 yards.
