So next week my family and I will be in the Vineyard next week and being new to beach detecting I would love some tips. I plan on snorkeling the calm beaches trying to id some sort of low spot in the water that collects targets. not sure if this is a good plan , sounds good in theory, but not having a ton of experience I would love some advice. I ordered Clives book on the Excal and have read it all. But I would to still get more advice. Last year I took the Mxt and hit the dry sand and found a ton of coins but not much of anything else. I blame that on me reading the screen and not digging everything. This year I really want to hit the water. Its just that there is so much beach and I am not really sure how to break it down?
Now I just have to get through this last day of work! I can already feel time slowing down!
