Ditch the traditional dive mask and get an Aquasphere Seal 2.0- Swim Mask ( made in Italy) $40.00 . When you push it onto your face, it seals like a suction cup. I use a lap swimmer nose clip tied to a monofilament loop I put over my head. It won't leak or fog up. I use this for snorkeling and in the water detecting. And Yay! my Nox 800 hasn't leaked anymore.
