Went out to try get some hunting in before the rain started again. I got to my spot before the low tide and started swinging. After 30 minutes of swinging I was ready to call it quits since all I was digging was light stuff. I decided to walk to a different spot but things were the same. This beach is very rocky above the high tide line but do to the high surf we had I noticed things had moved around a little. The rocks range from fist size to about 8” and since I like pain/challenges I decided to detect there. After a few minutes I started pulling coins at a steady pace, just enough to keep me entertained. After two hours I found the massive gold ring you see in the pictures
and 30 minutes later I found the silver quarter. I also found a Kennedy half but can’t see a date on it. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed I pulled almost $10 in change from a rocky area in about 4hrs. I did good there but due to the rain I had to quit for the day. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.
