I am planning on a 2 week vacation to Maui, 1st time there. Any water or beach hunting locations or ideals are wanted. I am using my Minelab Excaliber & also bringing my GP Extreme as a backup. Thanks

So how did you do in Maui? I did not do too well but I had just got may Excalibur and did not know how to use it. Now, I am finding rings left and right (well, a few anyway).

Well, on my 1st dive I blew an o-ring on my Excal and flooded the electronics I did meet a local who has a side business on Maui recovering lost rings, he was kind enough to let me use on of his Surf Masters for the rest of my trip. I ended up with 5 rings but nothing to write home about. I came home Memorial weekend and found 6 more of which 3 were gold. I just got my Escal back from Minelab in good working order after a new circuit board and o-rings.
