Maybe gold and diamonds kind of day??

I got permission to metal hunt around a couple of old home sites where the homes are still standing but haven't been lived in for awhile. A long the sidewalk in front of the old house I found a R.I. Lines tag, I believe its copper with the number 154 on one side and R.I.Lines on the other. I also found a small round gold colored object that looks like the top or front side of a button. It has a "diamond like" stone in the center of a design with stars over the top.. If anyone can tell me what this is, please do....
This is my second day of checking out the property, day one I found some clad and a Standing Liberty Quarter, very worn, with no date.. I cant wait to get across the road to the other property.. Happy Hunting Everyone.

I took some more pictures to see if anyone could tell me what this is a button, stick pin, broach, ect..... It measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter. Thanks.
