MD Advice

I have wanted a MD since I was a kid. I am hoping to be able to get one around Christmas. I just have no clue how to choose or pick one out. I'm looking at this one http://www.kellycodetectors.com/MP3/mp3.htm Is it good for the price? If someone could please give me some advice.. Thanks

Hello Kevin and Welcome to T-net and Metal Detecting.
I honestly do not know much about the Detector in question. I do know that you you can get a Garret Ace 250 in about the same price range and it is a Great Starter Machine. Another good thing about the 250 is that there are alot of people on T-net that use this machine and that equals a ton of helpful tips on it's use and field experience.
I know the help you can get here may keep the frustration of learning detecting Low and your Spirits high. So hopefully you can hang in here and enjoy the knowledge,the finds and the Great forums of this Site.
