I wish I metal detected when I lived there. There are some great places. Can you still get across to monicas swamp? Have you hunted the mountains?

There's a metal detecting club in El Paso. Sorry, I don't have contact information handy.

There's also a GPAA club in El Paso, and some of the members use metal detectors.
