MD'ING in Florida question.

Hey, I'm heading to the Tampa Bay area in a few weeks, more specifically the Ruskin area. Any tips or pointers? Never hunted Florida, so I don't know where to begin?..lol

If you have a few extra bucks and like to scuba dive go to the keys contact Mel Fisher museum and sign up for a dive, Iwas down there a few years ago and I don't remember how much it costs but that would be fun.. But call now to check on everything.

If you're looking to make some money. I'd check into one of the tomato farms and see what they're paying for a full picked bushel. Everything has been found here in sunny florida.

No, just visiting the in-laws..so yeah, I need a justifiable reason to bail on the inlaws, like fishing or metal detecting..lol

Private property or beach- either is good.

If you are on the beach, don't dig in the dune area at all. Stay below the dunes and into the water is okay.

No state parks are allowed.

You will find the ground easy to dig, good luck!
