MD'ing in Thailand

I read somewhee that there are quite a few detectorist in Pattaya but after looking and searching I can't find any substantial info. now. I was thinking of buying an Ace 250 and after my hunting, donate it to a MD club there. Any one have relevant info that would put me on the right track/trail ??
