Me and Colby at a new site

Spent about 2 hrs with my son Colby this afternoon at a new site. Seems we found a turn of the century home site. I have no idea what the large iron object is and there are several other things that I'm not sure on. Colby found the barber half dollar that was in a fire evidently. The bale seal and the carved bullet, i thought were cool as well. Chime in on any of these unknowns.

This one looks like a musket ball puller tip from a ram rod the type that had a wood screw looking puller but it broke off. Does it have wood inside of one end?
