meager finds

Hello, first day of school ate up most of my day, however, i was able to stop at a local park. This is one of my worst days in a long time... i will probably no longer post individual days and just group them all together.

The finds are:
1920 wheat
my 5th cleat from the same shoe
a cheap-o ring with some aborigines on it
a disgraceful .34 in clad

You have no idea how many days I would have been ecstatic to find such things. I say it's never a bad day hunting, it's only a bad day if you can't hunt. Anyhow, nice wheatie!

A wheat is good any day in my book Think of it this way before you know it MI will be an air conditioned deep freeze and the ground will be rock hard so enjoy the thrill of the hunt while the weather is good. Do something nice for somebody good karma will roll back your way. Better days are on the horizon amigo.

Disgraceful, utterly Disgraceful! NOT. At least you got a good date wheat penny. Of coarse if you were really going just for clad it would have been a little disappointing.

Yeah, I usually wait until I have some decent(relatively speaking) finds to post. Sometimes it might be one or two outtings. Other times it might take me up to 4-5 trips.

But I still enjoy people's posts with just meager finds. I remember one post not on this forum. It was entitled "Todays finds". I clicked on it expecting something but what came up was a picture of a person's hand - with nothing in it! I busted up laughing Said he found Zilc, Nothing, Nadda.
