I dont know if you could classify these as tokens or tags so I'm going to say medallions. I dug these up last week and soaked them in olive oil. The first pick is of an old slot machine medallion. It's my understanding that when gambling was outlawed the machines used to spit out these suckers and they could be redeemed. I am told that if you new the bartender you could get cash for it but if you didn't it was a free drink and the like. The second medallion appears to be from a 1940 oil expo in San Fransisco? I think the back is great, every dollar you spend helps the community. It mostly helps Exon Moble but ya.
Just a quick edit; i looked up the oil token and it is listed as an oil dollar type I from the 1940 San Fran worlds fair R-2. Kinda cool.
