medicine bottle

Hello; here is a bottle I found while diving a few years ago it is about 8inches tall and dates (I think) from the late 1800's . On one side it says
POTTER DRUG AND CHEMICAL CORPORATION BOSTON MASS U S A and on the other side it reads
THE CUTICURA SYSTEM OF CURING CONSTITUTIONAL HUMORS
Does anyone know anything about Potter Drug & Chemical corp. could this be a laxative ?

Welcome to the TNet & thanks for showing us your bottle. It's post 1883 and not a laxative. There's an excellent history of the firm here: Bottle Pickers Potter angered the retail druggists at the Turn of the Century with their business practices: Western Druggist - 1899.

Thank You for the info, I had the date approximated fairly well but I see now that it wasn't a laxative but skin care product you learn something new all the time...
