Hi all last Saturday I discovered a medieval cutting tool.

It is a bill hook for agricultural purposes, not a halberd which is a military item. I also doubt the one posted here is medieval, they have been making these for hundreds of years and this one could just as easily be from the 1800s. Were it truly from the 14-1500s I think it would have been more rusted away.

Hi, i think you are right, it was not so rusted. The museum said that he is late medieval, nevertheless they took it to displayed in an agricultural museum saying that they don’t have this particular tool.
