Hit a old woods/park today great weather and good hunting. Found a couple of bullets (look old). Went into the mowed area at the back of the woods. Was getting a lot of real choppy signals but was digging wheats on signals deeper than 6". I slowed down popped a couple mercs, and the Indian 1905. Also got a couple no date buffs, both seem to have been hit with a mower?
Anyway HH and good luck all!!!

Congrats on the finds. I need to get out to the parks in my area but not sure the best spots to hit in parks.

congrats on the nice finds, any day finding silver is a great day......:icon_thumright: hh.

great silvers. Also looks like you may have picked up some sort of military button ??

Cool finds, I found that same button last fall, anyway HH.

wow great finds, The IH is in wonderful condition! HH

Very nice find

Gestus, depends on the age of the park. If it's newer, say 1970 +, The areas I'll hit are, of course, the tot lots, (swings!), Then gathering/picnic areas, where you will find plenty of pop tops, pull tabs and bottle caps, look closely. Look for large trees that would provide shade for spectators watching a game. Check playing fields (outfielders loose necklass's diving for them balls) then, when your all done hitting the park areas, check the front 10-15 ft. of the parking lot. Picture yourself walking to your car. About the time your reaching in your pocket for your keys. From that point to the pavement is a good area.
Any hillside is good. I have found more rings around swingsets (mostly the bucket type for little kids) and parking lots than anywhere else.

Research goes a long way if your in an older park, or find an abandoned park. Find one of those that haven't been hit and you'll have a hayday!

Oh yea, nice coins!
