Today in the check out line at 7-11, a lady paid for her pack of cigs with change, one of which caught my eye. When I got to her, I said I would like to buy that strange dime she just got, no problem, we changed hands and I put it in my pocket without even looking at it!
Could this be a 16D? I figured I may never see that coin in my own hands without commiting a felony first. Well, it wasn't. But it was a 39 Merc. Glad to find it! Haven't found much silver yet, but still looking! I also told the cashier that if she ever comes across anything like that to call me, and I gave her my number. She might not ever call, but hey, you never know right?
