Any opinions on this nail? Dug it up near the sea in the Caribbean. Every box is 1/4inch

Looks like a lot of the old nails, no help with ID
 

Looks good! You can soak it in apple cider vinegar for a bit, they usually clean up real nice!
 

I've come to hate them!!! We find many different kinds. My biggest is about 6 inches.

IF I HAVE DUG ONE I HAVE FOUND MANY. MORE NAILS SOMETIMES MEANS MORE FINDS AT SITE , THEY SAY...
 

Thank you all for the replies. There is so much knowledge on this site. Really I wanted to confirm if this is old and maybe a comment if it is marine or just an old iron nail. I was going to do reverse electrolysis but didn't. Its not falling apart as things that come from the ocean. This came from the dirt. Vinegar to clean wow yes thanks. I will try that I think. This also came out from same area lead.
