Metal Detecting in Cosat Rica

I am new to this forum, however, I have been detecting since 1966. My question is; does anyone have any information or experience detecting in Costa Rica. I have property in Jaco (the West coast) and am planning on living there in the not too distant future. I am particularly interested in beach hunting.
