Metal Detecting is calling me again!

I was a member of the older (original?) forum and for a variety of reasons I quit detecting. Since then, my hunting has been limited to finding money dropped in parking lots (you'd be surprised at how much!). Lately, I've been dreaming about metal detecting, so much so that I've decided to come back. I'm dipping my toe in by reading everyone's finds and hopefully that will inspire me to bring out the ole Garrett and pick up where I left off.

I know what you mean, Wudce. Here in Greenville it was a bit messy the other day but now it's just plain cold. I think it's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow and hope to get out then.
