Meteorite found in New Mexico

We found this in a remote area of southern New Mexico. It is very heavy and magnetic in some parts. It was the only thing of its kind found in the area. We filed a portion of it down to see the interior. Please let me know your thoughts, Thanks!!

take it to your local university geology department and let them check it out. don't leave it with them.
