Meteorite in Texas?

Cuerno:

If you want to see what meteorite hunters out west are finding visit
nuggetshooting.com. Bill Southern in Arizona has a forum with one
page for it. You can combine nugget and meteorite hunting in some
locations. Or you can research known strewn fields for space rocks.

I used to dig arrowheads at a paycamp near Moody Texas. A couple of times I saw two guys there metal detecting the throw dirt piles, I didn't talk to them but others told me they were looking for meteorites. I wasn't detecting at the time so I didn't ask any questions.

Maybe those guys found a cluster of meteorites. I am curious about
PAYCAMP. It that a place the govt soldiers paid off the Indians? I can
imagine the whole tribe sitting around making points until the palefaces
got around to paying.

I think he might be referring to the Chrisner's Ranch. It is a paydig for arrowheads, according to the points found has been occupied for over ten thousand years...

Yes, Chrisner's is a pay to dig site near Moody Texas. The cost is twenty dollars for six hours or forty for all day.

Is this a site where someone flintknaps some points and salts the earth?

i think i did when i first started i chunked it now i think hmmmmmm
