Meteorites?

My father and I have found several of these over the course of a couple years while out hunting. They are heavy for their size and there is nothing else like them in the area. You'll find one by itself in the middle of a sandy pasture and the only other rocks around are caliche. Can anyone help me ID them? They are heavy, but don't set off a handheld stud finder and don't stick to a magnet.

They may be Stone Meteorites, but still should stick a little bit Stone Meteorites are 5-10% Iron and should pull or resist the magnets.

Thanks for all the input. I came to find out they are just chunks of hematite that occur naturally. Thanks to the expertise of Ivan "Skip" Wilson, the original Meteor Man, I have a better understanding of what to look for and how to find them. Meeting the man that was really one of the founders of modern meteorite hunting was really fun. I'll have to post a pic later when I can get the photo shrunk down enough to fit on this site.
