Mexico Sterling Cuff & Earring Set, Maker Mark ID?

I picked these up this morning along with a huge pile of 14k/10k/sterling and wanted to identify the maker of this set

I lookEd up the hallmarks and didn’t get much since there isn’t a lot online for Mexican marks.

Does is look familiar to anybody? Even if it’s not identified, I think it’s fairly attractive and shouldn’t have a hard time moving it along. It’s hefty too! I’ve got massive hands and it really fills my palm

You bought some really nice pieces. I’m not sure who CAR is but I think the pieces stand on their own merit. Good quality!
 

I second JimDon. Nice old Taxco pieces. Also check GAR - might be a G. If I get home this week I’ll check the little grey Mexican mark book for you.
