I woke up bright and early and headed to the house that keeps on giving.
Again, for every good find, 20 bad ones are waiting to be plucked from the snake infested soil.
This was in my second hole of the day!
What a way to start the morning!

After about 10 minutes of swinging and 20 feet from the snake, I popped this out of the hole. A rifled slug
Identified in the what is it forum.
Here it is with an Infield bullet i found last year.

Now for the fun part!
After getting home I took a closer look at what I thought was trash.
When i first dug this ring, all i saw was a bunch of numbers on the outside. The inside was smooth with no markings so i figured
the numbers on the outside were tool numbers. Maybe it was a gauge of some sort. Whatever it was, it was not worth taking a picture.
After wiping it off at home, this is what i found.

This ring has map coordinates engraved in it! Both Latitude and Longitude. Have you ever heard of such a thing?
Now i have a mystery to solve. Why are their map coordinates on this ring? Is their a treasure waiting to be found?
I looked the coordinates up and it takes me to a University and more specifically, a spot in an open field at the University.
Such an odd thing indeed!
Anyhow, back to the hunt. I also found this silver plated spoon. Again, just another spoon until i cleaned it up.
Its a Mickey Mouse Spoon from the 1930's
This is what the spoon would look like without deterioration.
I have several Mickey mouse items so this will go nicely with them.
Finally, a picture of all my finds today. Lots of keys in the mix as well.

HH everyone!
