Rolled the dice on an area south of Macon yesterday. Drove two hours to get there praying the creek wasn’t 10 ft high and full of mud. I arrived to a crystal clear creek about 6” to 1’ deep chock full of gravel bars. I was pretty remote, but I could tell someone walks that creek as well, because I saw tall piles of gravel indicative of someone digging and sifting. Anyway, here’s what I found after a good 7 hour walk.

Congrats those are great! Have never found one.

That’s a long walk and successful rescue. Congrats on the sweet triangle. What do you make of those broke broad-bladed stemmed points? Looks like there is enough left of them to ID?

I was going Elora on the one with upturned ears, and maybe cottonbridge or six mile creek on the other. What do you think?

Nice.. You were just ahead of the bad weather!
