I might need some help from you guys. On Jan. 1st I ordered two camera items from the same outfit, and paid them using PayPal. On the 4th two packages arrived. The first one I opened was one item that I ordered. The second package was not even close to my order, which was a teleconverter costing $119, and they sent a flash bracket and remote worth about half that price. Rather than involve ebay I figured I'd give them a chance to send the correct item and I would send the wrong one back. They got right back to me saying that they would ship the teleconverter. On my initial order it only took four days, now it's been over a week. I haven't talked to ebay or paypal yet. They acknowledged they had shipped the wrong order. It's interesting to me that they didn't include a shipping invoice in either order, so the guy that ordered the bracket probably got my teleconverter. I sent them an email on Saturday, expecting an answer today, and nothing. I sent them another email today, so on that one the soonest they could answer me would be tomorrow. What do you think, should I open a case or give them a few more days?

I'd warn them that you are opening a case against them and if insufficient reply then blast them. I'd demand delivery of item in 24 hours or else, it's their fault, they are careless with their shipping and don't deserve velvet glove treatment, bring out the iron fist a wave it in their face.

I'd open the case now. Sounds like they are ducking your messages, thinking they can buy some time. My guess is that they got the other buyer to agree to send your item back and they are waiting on it so they can ship it to you.

That thought has crossed my mind.

He answered me today, said label didn't print out properly, (which makes sense) given that you guys were talking about that yesterday. He said it will ship with faster delivery today and he will send me the tracking number today, soon as it's posted. So again we wait, but I think he means it, wants good feedback, which I'll give if it ships today. But only when I get it.

I have swap items once by accident. Two fishing lures one sold for 121 sold for 115. One was red one was blue. Auction ended the same day and I was on the phone trying to get them shipped and talk to somebody at once. Ended up shipping each of them to the wrong house. Then they both emailed me saying that I sent the wrong one the one guy did not want to send it back but he did not want it either. And then the other guy send it back so I ended up refunding the one guy $50 so he would take the lure back to the post office. And about three weeks later they both were happy left positive feedback. I talked to one guy on the phone. And he was very happy after I talk to him so. It was not the end of the world but it was sure frustrating on my end.

We all know stuff like this can happen - I've done it too. The lack of communication and follow through is the reason I advised to open the case. 'Label didn't print out properly' is a pretty lame excuse. Hopefully you get your stuff soon, I have a feeling you will.
