The first building constructed in Ogden, the cabin of Miles Goodyear, from whom the site upon which Ogden stands was purchased by Captain Brown. The Cabin was one of the objects pointed out by President Shurtliff
The site of Bingham's fort was pointed out at 23rd. and Madison.
