Last weekend I was hunting an old picnic ground and was having no luck. My buddy texted me a pic of a sweet little military button he had just found. Feeling discouraged, I decided to go to my good ole trusty detecting spot back in town. I only had about a half an hour to swing so I got to it. Not long after I heard a signal which sounded to me like a military button. I rolled back the plug and saw the sweet golden gilt of a nice military button. But soon a realized how crazy this target was. It was a twin button to the one he had found earlier in the day. What are the chances? Identical buttons, on the same day, different spots, in the black hills of SD. Astronomical!
