Military ?

I Live in eastern Arizona and bought my home 9 months ago and besides the Indian artifacts i have been finding like crazy, i found this yesterday after a pretty good wind storm with just the top showing.

Can anyone help me ID what this is for sure i know it has an Anchor at it's center ?

It is a hair smaller then a nickel, much thicker and twice as heavy
