Hey guys! Found this at a third Seminole war site today(1850’s) along with many buttons and my first seated half dime. Anyways, what ever it is, it’s smashed. Thought it was junk, but there is gold plating on it and there’s a shank on the back!! 1850’s military pin? Hat piece? Thanks!
