Can someone help me ID this? Was found on the property about 25 years ago. It was not broken when I found it; it got shattered when son was a tot in a walker. I tried glueing in back together and over the years the glue did not hold up too good. I have been calling it a "Milk Maid Cream Pitcher" Writing on the bottom "Gold Castle"?? I can make out the "Cas _ _ E" "Hand Painted" "CHIK US". The hallmark looks like those Japanese houses.

Thanks!

;) RR

See the pic below...Jim fixed for me.

Let me make this easier to see...

"Gold Castle" is correct. The "Chik..." mark is "Chikusa." Made in Japan, all right— some in Occupied Japan, I believe.
