Millard Fillmore $1 coin

My brother and I went out to a park and this was right on the edge of the parking lot as we were walking out for the day. It was pinging about 88 on my AT Pro and I actually thought it was 3 different coins since I had 3 distinct beeps when I slowly scanned it. We were super excited when we unearthed it and I never even knew they made these. Turned out to be from a 2010 issue but they was still really cool.

Made my discovery of these things (the Lincoln) at the bank a couple days ago. The teller showed it to us and I noticed there was no year - also didn't have the words "E PLURIBUS UNUM". I asked the teller about it (younger girl) and she didn't have a clue! Even she did not know if it was real currency!

I saw that as well but when I showed the coin to my Mom, she looked closely and found "E Pluribus Unum" and the date inscribed on the edge of coin. Pretty crazy!

Thanks Paul. Hadn't gotten around to looking closely at the dollar rolls I got - only enough to separate the SacaG's from the Prez's. Pulled one out of the wrapper and, sure enough, there's the IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date on the edges. Thanks for the release schedule.
