I have a used Minelab Excalibur 1000 for sale. I bought this used a few years back and it had "dog chew marks" around the cord right at the coil.... So i sent it off to Minelab.... $250 later i had a new coil, pressured tested and a working detector. I updated the stock shaft and modified it so the electronics were more balanced out at the end of the shaft, kinda like an Anderson shaft. What i did was buy a hip mount kit and add it on to the very end of the stock shaft. As you know with the hip mount comes a quick disconnect for the battery pod. With all new knobs when i had the detector serviced through Minelab i purchased an Anderson knob guard. Also added a new set of Grey Ghost headphones that replaced the stock ones. I will throw in some extra parts, screws, caps, an old re-chargeable battery pod, a bag of new gasket orings.
