Minelab Excalibur II water hunting settings

The Excalibur II user manual recommends using the auto sensitivity setting when in the water. What settings do you use?

I run mine at about 11 0clock to 1 rarely do I run in auto HH

Just as RonC says. I have ran mine in Auto a few times, but what I normally do is adjust the sense till unit is stable, then I increase the sense just a hair. The main thing is to have a stable detector. Adjust it till it is stable, then increase it just a hair......
