Saw on another forum where Andy Sabisch posted a link showing that Minelab is selling or will soon sell parts to their detectors: Minelab Service Parts

Maybe this is a step towards adding additional repair centers....?

There was a post on the other board where a guy said he had already ordered a part from ML. He didn't say if he used the site. Too bad that thread was deleted.

I talked to Jamie at Minelab, website is not active yet so no one can order from it. There are some parts they sell, but they do not sell any detector internal parts.

Kinda makes the entire endeavor worthless then, don't it? Who wants to pay ridiculous stock prices for items on the aftermarket stuff at 1/3 the cost?

I'll just wait patiently to see how it pans out before passing judgement.

Wait and see what happens, just reporting what I was told so it isn't directly from the horse's mouth so to speak. I know website isn't live, no one can register so you can't see prices or order anything.

Website is a beta site and was not meant to be open to the public, it is a website for parts for the service centers.

No, your post was not an issue. I am just advising what I found out through my contacts with Minelab. If you try the link you will see it is not working now.
