Mini sabot slug/Wadcutter?

I posted it in today's finds, I first thought it was a hollow point, minus the jacket. However, inspecting it it looks like a mini sabot/wadcutter, your thoughts? Also, this land has not been hunted nor inhabited in 30+ years...
