Minkowskie Gold

There are versions of this story that predate the NAZI era by several decades. Same place. Same type of story. Probably a dreamed up fantasy then. Probably a dreamed up fantasy now. The owners likely would do better by restoring the building and grounds and making a resort hotel out of it. Gold fever and stories of lost loot frequently bypass all logic centers of the human mind. Time for more coffee.

Greetings from Paraguay
in the letter from the Nazi officer is the riddle.
** the clues are: 48 chests, a woman, a man, family, god.
** the woman who went to the "forest" for a while and then "came back" and everything is intact in the palace.
** the Nazi officer refers to the "palace windows" as "chests"
** the palace is definitely the right place to start the puzzle. the researchers are right, what they don't know is that there is no gold in that place.
** In the letter he says: "May God help you and help me to fulfill my mission", is the clue that an oratory or church should look for.
** in the forest: behind the palace, there is the small oratory.
** on the wall you can see the hand of a man, the hand of a woman and the families that surround them and a writing.
***** Solve the writing on the wall.
