Just some things over the years that haven't been identified. Maybe some different eyes can help. Iron piece with little hole in it looks like part of a gun ,idk. Object I'm holding appears to be cast iron. One end is threaded and body had teeth of some sort. I know the one piece is probably a keyhole cover. Has "A. Thompson" on it. Other 2 1/2" x 3/8 is a solid chunk of lead. No idea about that one or the other 2 brass pieces. Thanks for looking

In the picture 173000 has a slight resemblance to a trigger

I think: 29 is the top opening of a knife scabbard , 30 is a trigger. Those suggestions and $5 will get you a cup of coffee.

Had an old bayonet with leather scabbard that had a similar piece at the top to keep it open and protect the leather I suppose. I repeat "similar". I sure as heck have no expertise, not even a little knowledge, in this area. Just brought it to mind.

Scabbard piece seems to be likely. I'll happily agree. Thanks sandog

the round lead piece is most likely the weight from a clock pendulum. I agree with broken scissors or candle snuffer for the broken item. Can we see pics of both sides of the crescent shaped thing?

I agree on that one, a part of a pair, or a wick trimmer.
Pretty sure the item isn't a trigger.
Crushing my hopes on not being trigger but I'm not going to call it something it's not. Thanks for insight pepperj
