As you know I am a teller. Today at work, I gave a CSR coin to run a test thru our coin counter machine. When he was done he told me he found 3 silver dimes in one of the rolls. So I decided to keep the rest of the dime rolls I had in by locker which was $255.
But, when I got to work this morning I had $70 in dimes from a previous box and I bought another box $250 for my coin locker. So I had no idea which box the roll with 3 silvers came from, so I decided to buy all the dimes I had in my locker to bring home to hunt thru.
All the rolls were mixed together so I didn't know which rolls were from which box.
Out of the $255 I took home to hunt thru, 3 rolls had 1 silver, 1 roll had 2 silvers, and 1 roll had 3 silvers.
I am guessing that the box I had before the new box I bought must have been loading with a good amount of dimes. Too bad I couldn't catch it earlier.
Oh well 8 silver dimes from $255, and a silver quarter from the reject tube today
