Found this metal detecting on a fresh water beach today 5” under the sand. How likely is this a meteorite?

There is metal in it what ever it is.

I do not believe it's a meteorite...is it magnetic? Is it "heavy" for it's size?

Not magnetic by the proven scientific test of a refrigerator magnet. It’s not heavy.
