I found a 1944 D wheat penny that is really messed up - on the front there are dented scratches all over and on the wheat side
the letters are smeared like it was done during the minting process, these are not surface scratches and markings. Even the wheat is smeared.
Any value in an error coin like this, considering the year and all?
