Here's todays finds, pleased with the 2 hammered coins, although the oldest an henry 111 penny was badly bent and cracked. The other small hammered coin is a Charles 1 penny with rose both sides. I've also got a half penny of the same rose type so this completes the set. Also found a grotty Roman brooch and a medieval lead weight (only find this type on this site), a medieval bronze leg, medieval pin head, medieval buckle, and a Queen Victoria half penny. done some pics of the hammered coins straight and cleaned .
