Modern postage stamp album copyright 1935

I recently got 2 albums the red modern postage stamp album and the universal stamp album copyright 1953 and they are full of stamps I am just now starting to go through the stamps. Was wondering if there are certain stamps I should look for that may have significant value? Thanks

By 'significant', I hope you're thinking $1.00 or more. With your collection, I'd start reviewing stamps from each country that pre-date 1935.
That will give you a small sample of your collection, but where you'd be most likely to find stamps of any 'significant' value.
