I went to 17 acre field today. There's a section of it that just keeps on giving. My first find was an old bent spoon. I can't quite make out the word on the back of the handle. And then I dug up a tine to an old field rake. I found several very old nails, an old metal cap, and some rusted bolts. I also found 2 bullets. There's a metal ring which is attached to something that was either for livestock or hanging things. I'm definitely on a very old homestead.
Still lots of the field to hunt. I was very happy to get out and enjoy the fresh air!
