more bad luck for tinpan, found someones pot plants{marijuana} in forest.

hi everyone, i dont know how high. just joking ahahah anyway i went to a forest at the edge of town today.worked area for about 2 hours with little luck and when got a hit on the minelab. i dug up nice little sixpence {1904}. as i was getting up, i noticed a large green plant about 15 feet away and another couple of dozen of them. i didnt think that being here would good for my health so i left the area and im not going back.i am going to buy a new camera next week and start to post some pics for everyone to see.

Hehe - that reminds me of when I used to mow lawns to make money when I was in high school and I mowed over someones "patch" of pot :-P.

Congrats on the find. Here in Illinois we have that stuff growing wild along roads and fence rows. They call it " Illinois Green". It will give you one heck of a headace, Or thats what Ive been told.

IF the Police see you Taking Pictures, They MAY
Think they are yours & your getting pics to Show them off.
Although IF they got a tip and were already watching,
You Probably would have been Harassed Already.

Stay as far away as Possible to snap them just in case.

You have to be very carefull here in Eastern Kentucky. Cultivation of marijuana is probably the biggest cash crop. I have found hundreds of pot plants what time i was looking for ginseng and yellow root. I have heard reliable stories of growers booby trapping their fields, but have not seen it first hand. BE CAREFULL!!!!!

Number one cash crop here in Oregon, people here are so lax about it they don't bother getting paranoid or booby trapping anymore. Now in Northern CA, they can get downright nasty!

My sis had the cops come and clear out her land here last year, over a hundred plants. They just piled em up, dowsed them with gas, and burnt 'em right on the spot. Probably a few owls and deer with the munchies THAT day.

diamondjim! I have heard of people doing a lot of booby trapping down in southern ohio, I used to hunt deer, turkey a lot years ago down around chilicothe... locals would tell you were to go and where to stay out of...

little advise!! stay clear of peoples growing!nothing good can come from it, end up dead or harrased by cops!!.... unless you carry guns like me.. then have fun and detect wherever you feel like (of course with the owners permisson)
