Got back to the US Buckle Site last night.
Still finding plenty of big iron tools, found some huge chunks of lead pipe as well.
Started out swinging the 12” coil on the nox 800, but there is so much iron and the stubble is tall that after awhile I felt frustrated and my arm was getting worn out.
Switched back to the 6” coil and felt free again to explore comfortably and with precision.
Pulled two pre 1920 Wheaties, two silver washed buckles, a mysterious crude piece broken in half, a chunk of three prong pewter fork, and the find of the day was this giant floral lead piece.
Anyone have any ideas on what it could have adorned? Has rings for a spike through the back.
Still looking for that silver...
