More Casino Halves Today.......

The boxes I have been getting lately seem to be loaded with these casinos halves. I have come across multiple rolls that show no ridges on the rims at all. Kinda strange looking actually.

I am thinking since casinos are getting away from the half dollar machines maybe they sent all the half dollars to the Feds....

I picked up another two boxes of dimes to try again.....I'll post those results later this evening. That one box from the other day bit me good....ha! Now I have to keep checking these darn things.

Maybe 10% of mine look like that on the edge, but I date search anyways- still looking for an '87 (daughters birthdate), finally got mine today'66. Was a good day for silver in Colorful Colorado. I should have got some dimes today too, a box will fit in your pocket like 100 credit cards haha. HH Mark
Better get your game face on for the picture show- I don't have my camera home yet but with the silver I got today I may actually have enought to build something kool and I'm scheming hehe.

You are so right OR....those dimes are so darn small. I just edge search. I'd go blind looking at dates on those babies.

Your right AW....When I search halves for silver only which is 90% of the time (unless something really jumps out at me), I go by sound.....I don't search dates. That distinctive silver "clink" is unmistakable.
